A Little Introduction

Hello, and welcome to Kirsty Running, the least imaginatively named running blog in the world…

If you’re reading this, you probably know me in real life (hi!) or as the baking obsessed author of the food blog, A Dash of Ginger. What you might not know is that recently I’ve become almost as excited about running as food.

Since getting more into regular running in 2016 I’ve been tracking my runs via my GPS watch. But, I quite like the idea of keeping a training diary to capture some of the more subjective things. And, since I’m the kind of nosy person who likes reading about other people’s training, I thought I might as well do it online!

I don’t have any grand plans for this space other than to document what I’ve been up to in terms of training and racing. Whilst I can be a bit pedantic about only sharing my best photos on the food blog, this is going to be a much more low key affair (err, unless anyone wants to volunteer to be my personal photographer – anyone? No?).

I guess what I’m trying to say is, keep your expectations low 🙂

I’m always on the lookout for new running blogs to follow (like I said – nosy!) so let me know if there’s any you like.

Although my 2017 race plans are still a bit up in the air at the moment, I have written a wee post about my running goals for this year more generally if you’re interested.
